The two-time Grammy winner earned an Album of the Year nomination for The Blessed Unrest. In 2016, she made her Broadway debut with Waitress, writing the music and lyrics and later starring in the production. Her work on the show earned her two Tony nominations.

Now she returns to the Bowl for a career-spanning evening alongside conductor Thomas Wilkins and the Hollywood Bowl Orchestra.
