A new Park and Ride route now connects Sylmar to the Hollywood Bowl. The new pickup location at the Sylmar Metrolink Station in the northeast San Fernando Valley launches in time for the start of the Bowl’s 2025 summer season.

Los Angeles County Third District Supervisor Lindsey Horvath called the long-awaited service an important addition for Valley and greater Los Angeles County residents. The route provides a convenient way to reach the iconic venue throughout the summer without dealing with heavy traffic or stacked parking.

Cost

The Sylmar Park and Ride will operate on select concert nights. Riders can reserve spots in advance for $8, or pay $12 at the lot on the day of the event. The Hollywood Bowl now offers 15 Park and Ride locations across Los Angeles County, along with four shuttle lines.

• All Park & Ride lots are wheelchair accessible.

Tickets:

• Advanced sales are available until 10am the day before the concert.
• Passengers with pre-purchased Park & Ride tickets will be given boarding preference, provided they arrive no later than ten minutes prior to their ticketed departure time.
• Tickets are not interchangeable between Park & Ride Lot locations or dates. Only tickets for the current year will be accepted at the Park & Ride lots.

Lot Departures, Drop-off & Pick-up:

• Refer to your ticket for bus departure times from the lots. For concerts with pre-shows, Park & Ride departure times are based upon the start time of the pre-show, not the concert. 
• Buses will drop-off riders at the Bowl at the top of Lot B. Patrons requiring  can pick up that service from this location.
• Pick-up at the end of the concert is located at the transportation hub on Highland Avenue. Follow signs and staff directions.
• Return buses begin departing approximately 20 minutes after concert end.
