Below is a high-resolution version of the Hollywood Bowl seating chart to help you better understand the layout before purchasing tickets. One helpful detail to note is that bench seat numbers within each section are grouped by even numbers (2, 4, 6, etc.) and odd numbers (1, 3, 5, etc.). This means that seats 4 and 6 are directly next to each other, as are seats 5 and 7.

This numbering system can be confusing at first glance, especially if you are used to consecutive numbering. Knowing how the seats are grouped can prevent unnecessary worry when reviewing your ticket confirmation. If you see even-numbered seats listed together, rest assured they will be side by side on the bench. Venues often use even/odd numbering  to provide structural symmetry and simplify navigation. Typically, odd numbers are assigned to one side of an aisle and even numbers to the other, helping staff and patrons quickly identify the correct section. This system makes it easier for ushers to direct guests and reduces confusion, as it clearly distinguishes the left side of a row from the right. I find it causes more confusion.
