When the Hollywood Bowl 2026 Summer Season was announced on February 18, most of the schedule quickly fell into place. However, several performances across the subscription series are still waiting to be revealed. In total, eight concerts remain open on the calendar.
A few different series still have gaps in the schedule.
Weekend Spectaculars
The Fridays 1 (FR1) Weekend Spectaculars also have two open dates on August 7 and August 28. These concerts usually feature large productions with the LA Phil or major guest artists.
Meanwhile, the Fridays 2 (FR2) Weekend Spectaculars still have one performance waiting to be announced on September 28.
Likewise, the Saturday 1 (SA1) Weekend Spectaculars series has two dates that remain open: August 8 and August 29. Saturday nights at the Bowl are typically among the busiest performances of the week.
Other Series
The Wednesday Jazz Plus (WE2) series still has two dates without announced performers: July 29 and September 30. This series has become one of the more interesting parts of the Bowl season, often featuring creative collaborations and genre-blending artists.
Finally, the KCRW Festival Sundays (SU1) series still has one missing show on September 13. These concerts often feature indie, alternative, and globally inspired artists curated by KCRW.
Seeing this many open dates after the season announcement is somewhat unusual. In most years, the majority of performances are already finalized when the schedule is released.
It will be interesting to see how these remaining concerts come together as the summer approaches. As new announcements are made, I will continue to follow the updates and share them here.
