OK to take alcohol to the Bowl?

We got tickets for Paul Simon for this June. We plan on bringing a picnic style dinner and were wondering if we can bring wine with us.

Concerts not sponsored by the LA Philharmonic have special house rules. Basically food is allowed however No Glass/Cans/Alcohol or controlled substances allowed on entry. From the Hollywood Bowl website:

• Wine and beer are available for purchase inside the Bowl.
• Factory-sealed plastic bottles with non-alcoholic beverages are allowed as long as they’re one liter or less.
• No glass (including drinking glasses) or aluminum cans, regardless of content.
• Reusable liquid containers (such as Nalgene bottles) are permitted as long as they’re empty. Bottles may be filled at water stations throughout the Hollywood Bowl.
